Walking and Cycling - Wiltshire Tourism has produced a comprehensive set of walking and cycling routes around Salisbury Plain; these can be downloaded from the Visit Wiltshire web site together with details of where you can hire cycles. Whilst for those wishing to combine their exercise with a hearty pub lunch, we can advise on some great walks, ranging from a gentle stroll to a hearty hike, that incorporate lunch at a good English pub.
Motor racing circuit - If you want to experience high-speed driving on the UK’s fastest motor racing circuit visit Thruxton which is less than five miles from here.
Fishing - Salisbury & District Angling Club provide fly and coarse fishing on several local rivers around Salisbury. Alternatively, Avon Springs Fly Fishing Lakes are almost on our doorstep.
